Actilangue was founded in 1977 and has a great experience in teaching French as a Foreign Language. It is located in the centre of Nice and is only five minute walk away from the beach. Nice is world renown as a university city, cultural metropolis and international holiday resort. Its mild climate and unique geographical location between the Maritime Alps and the Mediterranean Sea make it as attractive in winter as in summer. 

A special feature of the Actilangue programme is the emphasis on conversational French. Students in the intensive courses have either one or two lessons in small conversation groups. Students are grouped by age and mutual interests in addition to their knowledge of French.  All students use materials developed by Actilangue, including textbooks. Materials are periodically reviewed.

Actilangue offers the following courses: General and Intensive Courses (6 to 12 participants), Junior Programme (16 to 20 years old) which runs in Summer and includes several activities outside the classroom, Combination courses (group lessons plus 1 or 2 lessons of private tuition daily), private courses, special DELF preparation courses, French for Teachers, long-term French courses and conversational programs.

The school arranges different types of accommodation of excellent quality at very good rates. The options include accommodation with a host family, in a shared vila apartment or in small apartments.

Actilangue also offers a leisure and sport programme as well as excursions during the week, Saturday and Sunday.
