General Information
Type of student: Young people and adults who need
to improve their knowledge of Spanish and perfect their communication techniques in the
business field, for academic or professional reasons.
Lessons/week: 25 lessons
Level: Intermediate or over
Course length: 2 weeks upwards
Dates: Any Monday
Students/group: Average 4 people (maximum 8)
Aims: Development of language skills ( listening and reading
comprehension, speaking and writing skills) to improve the student's fluency in general
Spanish and to enable him/her to deal with business situations where spoken or written
Spanish is required.

Content:
Theory and practice of Spanish language grammar structures
Practice exercises to extend vocabulary and develop grammar usage
Communication practice: listening comprehension and speaking practice techniques
Written Spanish: reading comprehension, text analysis and composition
Company Communication: presentations, comuniqués, telephoning. The job interview
Administration and Business Spanish: company structure , fields of activity and
functioning
Present-day Spain and Spanish (introduction to the socio-economic situation in Spain
today)
Certificates: The "DILE Certificate in Business Spanish" is
awarded to students who have attended at least 95% of the classes and who have handed in
their folder of coursework papers and passed the final exams. The course
programme is adapted to the requirements of the "Certificate"
and "Diploma in Business Spanish" of the Chambers of Commerce. Students who wish
to sit these exams can take optional one-to-one classes of exam preparation techniques.
(Exam sittings are in April, June, July and November).

4 weeks: 65 Euros enrolment fee + 510 Euros
5 weeks: 65 Euros enrolment fee + 625 Euros
6 weeks: 65 Euros enrolment fee + 730 Euros
7 weeks: 65 Euros enrolment fee + 835 Euros
8 weeks: 65 Euros enrolment fee + 940 Euros
Over 8 weeks: 105 Euros per extra week
