Situated in a quiet residential area, close to the railway
station and to the busy town centre, the school is perfectly placed for exploring the
beautiful and historic city of Cambridge. The school has 10 well equipped classrooms, a
lounge, large garden and a computer room with free internet access. In the summer months,
it also uses a nearby university campus with access to all LSI facilities. The school is a
registered test centre for the TOEFL examination. Its leisure programme includes
barbecues, club nights, quizzes and sports including football and golf. At the weekend
students can head further afield, to London, Stonehenge, Shakespeare's Birthplace, or even
Scotland or Paris.
There is a wide range of English language courses, including
General and Examination Courses (English Standard, English Intensive, English for
Business, Cambridge examination FCE & CAE; IELTS, TOEFL & TOEIC preparation, etc.)
and Executive Courses (English Executive One to One, English 9 Compact course, etc.).
In standard courses, the minimum age required is 16 years old. Courses vary
from 1 week to 50 weeks long and standard groups are small (max. 14 students per class).
