Colorado School of English is located in the heart of downtown Denver just two blocks south of the 16th Street Mall which hosts a one-mile stretch of restaurants, up-scale shopping, theaters, night clubs and other entertainment venues. The school is also within 3 blocks of the State Capitol building and other important government buildings. Transportation to it is safe and easy by bus or light rail train.

Colorado School of English strives to meet the individual needs of each and every student. Its mission is to provide training in English as a Second Language to speakers of other languages and to provide professional development via the TESL/TEFL Certificate Programs. The school will help students every step of the way - English study, cultural adjustment, and survival in the United States. Spoken English is emphasized in all classes. Students will practice using grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and idioms, until they feel confident expressing themselves in English.  Besides, Colorado School of English schedules TOEIC and MELAB tests for students as needed. Registration assistance is provided for students who want to take the computer-based TOEFL.

Colorado School of English arranges for its students to stay with a family that lives near to the school. The host family will help the student to get acquainted with the American way of life.
