Since 1979, the Washington Academy of Languages
(WAL), a non-profit organization, has been teaching language and culture to the world's
people. It is located in Seattle next to Seattle Pacific University and
along the beautiful Lake Washington Ship Canal.
WAL offers English as a Second Language in group and

quickly for college or university entrance, business or travel. The maximum size of

Program. Morning Seminars are appropriate for students who wish to study part-time or who
want to add specialized work to their Intensive. Students can choose from: TOEFL
Preparation, Pronunciation & Oral Communication, Business Communications and TOEIC
Preparation. Other special courses are Medical English Programs (tailored for groups
