Located just minutes from the beach and town centre, SEA is a small friendly English school. It keeps the classes small (average 8, max 12 students per class), and offers a personalised English tuition and English lessons. The school provides free computer and internet access and offers a wide range of English courses, including General English, English plus Special Activities (such as surfing, diving, etc.), part time lessons (mornings), test preparation courses (Cambridge First Certificate), study tours and individual lessons. The 1:1 or 2:1 lessons can be arranged on application. These lessons can be designed to focus on specific language skills (for example speaking, pronunciation) or English for Specific Purposes (for example Tourism, Business).

SEA also offers social activities with the teachers, and provides different lodging options, including homestay, hotel or guesthouses.

The Sydney English Academy is accredited by the National Accreditation scheme.
