The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) has approved King’s Education courses and it is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students (Ministry of Education), which means the school offers high standards of care for all students.
 
King’s has developed a unique internal English testing system, which uses similar scores of an IELTS test. Each week every student is tested and written feed back is provided by the end of the week. This is an important measure for checking the English progress of each student.

King's specialises in the following: General English language training for all levels of English, IELTS preparation for those who wish to develop their English so that they can go to a higher level of Education in New Zealand, Healthcare training to bring registered nurses over from overseas to work in New Zealand as nurses or care assistants for the elderly,  and High School Preparation for those interested in attending school in New Zealand (King's has a specialist junior campus for this).
