Founded in 1980, Delta Language School, is a well established school situated in the centre of Santander, five minutes from the railway station and the beaches. It is open all year round, and it has well-equipped classrooms with audio and video facilities, a library, and a common-room where students can relax, talk, drink coffee and read magazines or newspapers with other students. Santander, the capital of the Cantabria region, lies surrounded by beautiful mountain landscapes. There are more than thirty public parks, four big museums, a fabulous Cathedral and many open stretches of sandy beaches.

Courses are full or part time, intensive or regular and self-contained, suitable for students of all levels of Spanish. There is a maximum of eight students in each class. All students have classes in conversation, culture, grammar and vocabulary. In addition, "special interest " classes will be offered in such fields as Literature, Art and History. There are also Spanish for Business and DELE preparation courses. On the first morning, students will take a short test to determine their level of Spanish to find the class most suitable for them.  In the Self-Study Centre, students have access to a wide variety of other materials to help them practice their language skills.

Delta Language School recommends its students to stay with selected Spanish families in order to experience as much of the "Spanish lifestyle" as possible. The homestay programme provides a great way to become a little Spanish and to make lifelong family connections. Hotel and Guest-house arrangements are possible at any of Santander' s fine establishments.
