Letra Hispánica is a school of Spanish language and hispanic cultures. It offers to all participants a personalized attention suiting special needs and requests, and promotes personal contact with professors, intellectuals, writers and artists, in addition to other students from Salamanca. The school is located in Calle Peña Primera, 3 minutes walking from the Main Square, and the center of the historical and monumental Salamanca

At Letra Hispánica, all instructors are PhD's or have universtiy degrees (licenciados) with years of experience in teaching, organizing cultural events and directing programs for foreign students. The school offers a wide range of courses, such as Spanish language courses (general language instruction), Courses of Hispanic Language, Culture and Civilization (general instruction plus special focus on Hispanic culture -arts, history, literature, cinema, etc.); Spanish for pre-formed groups or Study Abroad Programs (foreign universities, institutes of culture, public and private organisations, etc.), Spanish for health professionals, and preparation for DELE. Spanish language courses may last from one week to several months, are open to all levels (from beginners to advanced students), are organized in groups of no more than 10 participants per class, and include grammar, conversation practice and workshops. On the other hand, courses of Hispanic Language, Culture and Civilization require intermediate level and have a minimal duration of four weeks. Both types of courses are offered all year round. Regarding the DELE exams, Letra Hispánica is also an Accredited Center by the Instituto Cervantes.

Letra Hispánica also organizes cultural activities, seminars and conferences, cultural trips and other social events. Some activities outside the classroom may include welcome parties, traditional Salamancan celebrations, visits to museums or galleries, cineforum, exchange with Spanish students, etc. In addition to the quality of educational aspects, Letra Hispánica provides accomodation in carefully selected families, apartments, residences or shared flats with other students. Other services include free internet access, tutoring, 24 hrs emergency phone and a Title of Proficiency from Letra Hispánica (after an examination) or Title of Attendance.
