Spanish Language Schools in Salamanca & Barcelona, Spain

ISLA offers Spanish language courses for foreigners in two excelent locations: one in Salamanca and the other one in Barcelona.  Opened in May 1990, ISLA Salamanca is in the centre of town, just steps from the Gran Vía, Salamanca's main street, and about 5 minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor. The school buildings comprise 10 classrooms, a teachers' room, 3 offices and a library/multimedia room with internet. On the other hand, ISLA Barcelona opened in February 2003, in the Barcelona's fashionable and central beach-side quarter, the Villa Olímpica, 2 metro stops from the old town. There, the school buildings comprise 6 classrooms and a library/ multi-media room with internet.  Students may choose to combine their studies between both locations.

ISLA offers Spanish courses for learners of all levels, all year round, starting every Monday.  Groups are small (max. 9 students per class) and there are individual sessions available too.  Courses offered include: Intensive course, Intensive Plus (general language instruction & culture courses), Compact Spanish course, Cross-cultural course (Spanish instruction + Literature, art, cinema and popular culture), etc.  There are also specific Spanish courses, such as DELE preparation courses, Commercial Spanish course, Academic Year, etc.  Studends have free access to other services, such Internet connection or tutorials, and enjoy different daily activities (talks, parties, etc.) offered by the school.

ISLA offers different accommodation options for its students: host families, shared flats, private apartments or studios, half/full board in Student Residence (Salamanca), self- catering mini- apartments (Barcelona), hotels and hostels.

ISLA proposes dynamic and stimulating leisure activities (tapas tours, visits to historical places, weekend excursions, day trips, evening parties, etc.).
