Spanish language school in Córdoba, Spain

Founded in 1993, LARCOS is situated in a modernized part of an old historic palace, close to San Andrés, not far from the city centre, in one of the most tradicional quarters of Córdoba, called "Axarquía", former quarter of the Arabs. The building dates back centuries with old features and styles having been incorporated with modern design. It has modern lecture-rooms, a cafeteria right beside a beautiful Andalusian patio for the enjoyment of the participants and offers plenty of opportunites for the students to meet. There is also at the students' disposal a small library, a collection of Flamenco CDs, a collection of Spanish films and free Internet access.

Spanish classes are organized in small groups. Courses run year round on 6 different levels, in intensive sessions of general language instruction.  In addition to these regular programs, LARCOS also offers Special courses, such as Spanish for Business, Training courses for teachers of Spanish, Preparation for DELE exams, etc.  LARCOS also offers, together with its partner schools in Málaga and Granada, 2-week-courses in each city. Course subjects and extracurricular activities are specially designed for each city, in close cooperation of both schools.

All kinds of accommodation are carefully selected for an comfortable stay: shared flat with other students, homestay with a host family, hotel and apartment.

Regarding social and extra activities, and fully included in the fees, LARCOS has both on and off school's premises: 3 guided city tours (old quarters, Mosque, taverns) during the 2 week course, weekly cultural activities (Spanish films, talks) plus a reception drink for new students.
