Founded in 1998, OISE Madrid is located in the business district of the city and is easily accessible by all forms of public transport. Course participants are mostly company personnel sponsored by their firm and success-hungry university or pre-university students. Both have a strong vested interest in achieving a significant improvement in language fluency for career purposes or exam success.

At OISE Madrid, courses start every Monday, all year round. They are designed to be flexible, so that students can choose the lesson format to suit their learning requirements: tutorials (teacher-one student), quatorials (teacher-four students) and octorials (teacher- max. 8 students). There are four different styles of programmes to choose from: Full Individual programme (tutorial), Shared Individual programme (tutorial & quatorial), Quatorial programme and Octorial programme. Language instruction is organized according to different aims or interests:  General language courses are designed to suit general or academic purposes, Executive language courses are designed to suit professional purposes (Business, Tourism, Education, Law, Medicine, etc.) and Examination language courses are designed to prepare the student to take Spanish exams, such as DELE, the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid exams, etc.

The school has a dedicated accommodation officer whose role is to ensure that students have a comfortable, welcoming place to go to after a hard day’s study.  Options offered are: homestay, college accommodation and hotel.  The school also provides a carefully organised programme of events. Typical activities include theatre and cinema visits, tour of the town, visits to museums and art galleries, visits to pubs, and lectures on history and literature.
