Spanish Language School in Cantabria, Spain

Santander Euro-Centre, established in 1991, is situated in the heart of Santander. It offers Spanish courses in groups (max. of 6) or with the tutor programme (one-on-one option). Every course includes work on conversation, comprehension, grammar and written skills. Situational dialogues and task based activities are widely used. Students with a more advanced level can study Spanish Culture and Civilization.  Admission is open to anyone, 17 years of age and older. A language test is given on the first morning - all levels of Spanish are welcome.  Tjhere is a wide range of special courses available too. All year round, students may choose to do a course of one week or more and begin any Monday during the year.

Students stay with carefully selected local families.  The student is also encouraged to participate in the social and cultural activities which are organized by the school in order to enhance the learning experience and gain insight into Spain and its people. They are taken on visits around the city, to the cinema, and to typical restaurants once a week. Every weekend there is an excursion to the surrounding area i. e. Picos de Europa, Santillana del Mar, Comillas, Puente Viesgo (interesting caves) etc.

An international course for students from 15-18 years of age is also available, with a varied social programme including cultural visits, parties, films, excursions to the beach and much more.
