Paraninfo is a Spanish language school for foreigners, centrally situated in Madrid. It has more than 30 years in the teaching field and it is an ¨Accredited Centre¨ of the Cervantes Institute. It offers spacious, air-conditioned rooms, high speed internet (free access), helpful personnel and a pleasant atmosphere. It can be accessed easily thanks to its numerous connections with public transport.

All the Spanish language instructors have a degree in the field. They teach small groups with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 students, applying the Direct Method, which entails immediate contact with the language. Students are organized in groups according to their level, which is determined through a placement test (there are six different levels). Every lesson is 55 minutes long and prices include registration, a certificate, the diploma and the book.

Paraninfo offers different types of courses: intensive (4 hrs per day) or superintensive (4 hrs per day + 1 hr of Culture & Civilization + 1 hr. of History), which can be taken for two weeks or for longer terms; three-months courses (4, 6 or 10 hrs. weekly) and annual courses (from September to June). All kinds of courses are available all year round. There are general Spanish instruction and specific courses, such as seminars for professionals, culture seminars, DELE preparation and Business Spanish. You can also take an intensive course plus a culture program (Spanish + Culture).

Paraninfo offers various accommodation possibilities: flats, which are located five minutes walking from the school and have fully equipped kitchens and Internet access; accommodation with Spanish families (close to the school or in the mountain); students residences, shared apartments, hostels and hotels. The school also organizes periodical trips in Madrid and excursions to nearby cities of cultural and tourist interest.  Students can even invite a non-student companion, who can also participate in the same activities as the rest of the students from the academy. The aim of the excursions is to enhance the Spanish students' knwolegde about the people, their customs and places in Spain.
