CICE
Spanish Language School in Mexico

The International Center for Cultural and Language Studies (CICE) is located in Cuernavaca, Mexico. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fomenting bilingual education, cultural awareness and the care and protection of the environment. Spanish classes are taught by native Spanish speakers who have years of experience teaching Spanish to foreigners. The center has on-going registration throughout the year and its classes start every Monday. In addition to this program, it offers courses on many others subjects relating to Mexico and its culture such as the study of ancient traditional medicine and the indigenous language Nahuatl.

Courses range from beginning to advanced levels. CICE has developed highly intensive Spanish programs that cover all aspects of the language including pronunciation, grammar, reading comprehension and conversational skills while being totally immersed in Mexican life and culture. CICE provides a placement test one day prior to the beginning of the course for students with existing knowledge of Spanish to ensure the appropriate level of instruction. Courses available are: Basic Spanish, Intermediate/Advanced Spanish and Spanish for Professionals, which is tailored to each individual's professional needs, special areas such as: Marketing, Economics, Law, Environmental Issues, Social Work, and colloquial as well as formal medical concepts and others.

CICE offers extra curricular activities, including Traditional Medicine, Lectures on Mexican Society and Politics, Dancing, Art workshops and more.

CICE will arrange for students to live with Mexican families while studying at CICE. However, students who prefer their own accommodations are welcome to stay in hotels or apartments. CICE will provide assistance upon request.
