Spanish Language School in Michoacan, Mexico

The Baden-Powell Institute was founded in 1987 by two Mexican teachers in Morelia and offers Spanish language courses to foreign students.   Its building has an architectural style of Mexico, with 26 classrooms, 4 patios, one cafeteria, two computer centers and one bookstore, where the school offers different services to its students, like a travel agency, internet access (Wi-Fi), computer lab, and others. Students enjoy a friendly and motivating atmosphere.

The institute offers Spanish lessons in groups or private tuition.  Groups are small, with 2 to 6 participants per class, and each class hour has a different instructor.  Students may add private lessons to their group sessions.  There are courses at all levels. Beginners start every Monday and the minimum lenght of a course is one week.  All lessons are conducted only in Spanish.

The Baden-Powell Institute offers accommodation with a Mexican family, to increase the student's immersion experience.  In addition, if the student prefers other options, the institute offers furnished apartments in its apartment house, located in the historical downtown Morelia.

The institute offers a variety of weekend excursions to different places of interest: Mexico City, Guanajuato, the beaches of Zihuatanejo, horseriding adventures in the Paricutin volcano, etc.
