ebabb119-2.jpg (14720 bytes) SLI SPANISH LANGUAGE INSTITUTE is a professional language school devoted to quality and personal attention. It specializes in the Spanish language and the culture of Latin America. The institute includes comfortable and attractive conference rooms, small group classrooms, a swimming pool, free internet access, and a cafeteria. It is situated in Cuernavaca, in Morelos state.

Spanish classes are held Monday through Friday, organized in small groups (3 to 5 students max.), at all levels, and include conversation classes on current events or lecture-discussion classes with cultural content. General Spanish courses are offered in Regular programs (group sessions), Semi-private lessons (group + individual tuition) and Executive option (customized programs for professional with high level needs, in individual tuition). The SLI also offers other special courses, such as Spanish for Hispanics, Spanish for Medicine, Spanish for Senior Citizens, Spanish for Teens, Spanish for Teachers, Spanish for Business, Spanish for Airline Personnel, etc. Regarding credits, those granted by SLI-Spanish Language Institute are transferable to institutions abroad. In the case of students whose home university has no agreement with SLI, they must make sure that credits are accepted by their school.

The SLI recommends stay with a Mexican family, in order to maximize the cultural experience, but students can make their own lodging arrangements.

Cuernavaca is a centrally located city, from which much of Central Mexico can be easily explored. The Institute offers guided excursions in private transport after classes for half days during the week and full days on weekends. At the Spanish Language Institute there are also 3-day weekend trips. Excursions are optional and at an additional cost.
