The Adventure of Learning Spanish offers Spanish instruction to foreigners in Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo, a resort town and a fisher quaint village located in the Pacific Coast of Mexico, in the State of Guerrero. Classes are taught from Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day, at the Villas Paraiso hotel in the Zona Dorada of Ixtapa, where all the staff ensure the students practice their Spanish even when they are off from school.

Spanish programs are divided according to three levels: Basic (I, II and III), Pre-Intermediate (I and II) and Intermediate (I and II). The basic levels are focused on conversation, while the other two levels develop the four language skills (writing, reading, listening and speaking). The Intermediate level also focuses on research activities. There are also private courses, tailored to suit special needs or interests, and special courses, such as Creative Writing, Literature or Grammar workshops.

Students may choose from different accommodation options while studying Spanish in Ixtapa. They can stay with a local host family, in a hostel located nearby or at the Villas Paraíso Hotel.

The Adventure of Learning Spanish is based on activities that enhance the students' learning process. Lessons would take place in real-life situations (visiting the market, a restaurant, a store, using public transportation service, etc.), where the students are encouraged to apply their lessons. Besides, some programs include a tour to the Guerrero mountains, which enriches the learning experience and allows the students to approach the Mexican culture. Other free time activities students may find in the area are surfing, diving, kayaking or fishing. They also can get involved in volunteer work.
