Escuela Mexicana offers Spanish language courses in Guanajuato, just two minutes walking away from the main square. The school is located in a historic building in a tranquil location.

Escuela Mexicana offers a wide range of Spanish programs to choose from.  The standard programs are open to all levels and are available form as short as one week to up a three months. Students may start any time at any level, which is determined by the placement exam everyone takes prior to begin.  Group courses has a maximum of five students and private tuition is always available.  There are also a number of specific courses to complement the language instruction, such as Culture, Literature, Legends, Politics, Mexican History, Business Culture, etc.

In addition to the standard program, there are also other special programs to consider, such as the Intensive Spanish for Travelers program, wich was designed to last one or two weeks and is recommended for beginners who intent to travel but need to communicate in specific contexts of survival (restaurants, hotels, bus stations, etc.); the PLUS program, which enhances the immersion experience; the Trimester Program, which runs for 12 weeks; the Kid's Program, for students of 6 years and up; the Teens Program in Summer, and more.

Students stay with local families or in the school's hostel, located nearby.  They also can participate in many extracurricular activities organized by the school, including guided city tours, movie nights, language exchange with local Spanish speakers, etc.
