Culturlingua offers a conversational approach to studying Spanish based on your current Spanish level. This is assessed before you arrive, in order for your teachers to construct a personal development plan suited to your specific needs. The teacher will present the language instruction of the lesson (grammar/ vocabulary), then both, teacher and student, practice the new skills and finally together produce an activity or piece of work with those new language skills. The school includes field trips to places like parks, markets, offices, shops, etc. in order to provide students with varied activities to practice speaking, listening, reading and/or writing.

Private classes allow the student complete flexibility. Your package is designed for what you need, taking things at your pace; 2, 3, 4 or more hours a day of classes, homestay accommodation with meals included or breakfast only, ceramic or painting classes. Anything you would like, Culturlingua can do!

In addition to classes, you may wish to volunteer your time in the afternoons. This is an ideal way to practice your Spanish - totally immersed, and helping out in the community. Examples of volunteering activities include helping at an orphanage, spending time at the local church and meeting people at the refuge. Culturlingua may help you to organize this type of activities. Besides, students can enjoy other additional activities to increase their exposure to the language, such as ceramic classes, painting classes, yoga classes, membership to the local gym, Mexican food cooking lessons, take a relaxing massage, or visit the city of Guadalajara.

High ceilings and the 125 year-old construction of the building keep you fresh and comfortable during your classes. The town is famous for its arts, crafts and ceramics. It hosts the Regional Ceramics Museum as well as dozens of stores and galleries for you to browse. There are always plenty of people in downtown and you’ll easily find things going on!

Tequila and Lake Chapala are easy to travel to from Tlaquepaque. Another advantage of choosing to study in Tlaquepaque is that it is conveniently situated just 20 minutes from Guadalajara International airport, with connections to several points throughout the USA.
