CIS, or Centro de Idiomas del Sureste, is located in Merida, the
largest and most cosmopolitan city in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, an area rich in
history and subtropical beauty. CIS has been exclusively devoted to the teaching of
languages since its founding in l974 and is fully accredited through the Yucatan Secretary
of Education.
Founded
in 1995, the Institute of Modern Spanish has developed educational programs devoted to the
instruction of the Spanish language and Mexican & Latin American culture through full
Spanish language immersion. It has a comfortable facility with air conditioned classrooms,
swimming pool and wireless internet service.
