Celas Maya Spanish language school is located in Quetzaltenango (Xela), in a thriving community of restaurants, hotels, residential areas, and commercial districts. Just a two-minute walk from the school is the town center, El Parque Centroamérica, where many festivals, concerts, fairs, and markets are held throughout the year.  The school provides different services, such free Internet access, snaks during the breaks, confortable facilities, access to the school library including textbooks, fiction and non-fiction novels, documentaries and recreational movies and DVDs, assistance in finding volunteer opportunities with various social organizations, etc.

Celas Maya offers Spanish immersion programs for beginners through advanced students, in one-on-one instruction.  In addition to the language instruction, the school organizes trips, volunteer opportunities, and other weekly activities like salsa lessons, field trips, films, lectures, and more, to provide its students with opportunities to practice their language skills and to approch the local culture.

Celas Maya offers homestay with a nearby Guatemalan family, but if prefered students can make their own living arrangements, perhaps staying in a hotel or renting a nearby apartment.
