CDL Spanish School opened in 2001 in a beautiful remodeled colonial home located just a few blocks from the central park of Antigua.  It offers a wide range of services, such as orientation session on the first day, orientation tour of Antigua, free coffee, tea and spring water, free textbooks and learning materials, free receipt of post, e-mail & faxes, etc.

CDL Spanish School offers different types of Spanish Programs. Regular Spanish programs include Intensive Group courses, Super Intensive group courses (combining group lessons with private tuition), and Private courses.   Group classes are comprised of a maximum of 4 students per teacher. Private classes allow the student to focus exclusively on his/her particular needs and interests. Besides the Regular Spanish programs, CDL offers Medicina (Spanish for Medical professionals program), Activa (Spanish plus travel), Spanish & Salsa and Spanish & Horseback Riding. Students can start classes in any program any Monday, all throughout the year.

Every week there are about 3-4 organized activities accompanied by CDL's staff. Typically there will be a sports activity, an excursion to a nearby village, a visit to a cultural center or museum and a culture class at the school. If there is a local festival or celebration happening the school includes that in the activity program, give detailed explanations about them and make sure its students get to experience them in the traditional ways.  In addition to these special activities, the Student Services Coordinator can point the students to other culture activities organized by galleries and culture centers: art exhibitions, museums, concerts, theater, street shows and celebrations.

Regarding accommodation, CDL offers different choices, including homestay options and hotels/hostels.
