Casa Xelajú is a Spanish school located in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, offering Spanish language instruction, social and cultural programs, with a wide range of extra services, such as organization of activities and trips for its students, and lodging arrangements with local families or in furnished apartments.

Casa Xelajú's Spanish immersion program is based on top down methodology also known as Whole Language, which is a replica of how people acquire their mother tongues.  In addition, to maintain high quality standards, Casa Xelajú has modified and incorporated the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) standards into its curriculum (these standards are currently used by thousands of universities and school districts worldwide).

Spanish language instruction in one-on-one, five hours per day, five days a week (small groups are available upon request).  In addtion to language instruction, Casa Xelajú provides daily cultural activities, such as lectures, movies and documentaries.  There is free unlimited internet access, snaks and drinks during the breaks, and free access to the school's library. The school also offers specialised courses to best suit different needs or interests, such as Spanish for Business, Spanish for health care professionals, Spanish for children, Spanish Literature, and more.  Besides, Casa Xelajú offers different preparation courses for USA tests, used to measure strengths and weakness of the student's speaking oral or written skills, such the OPI (Spanish Oral Proficiency Interview) and the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) Interview.

Social projects, internship program, volunteer work and travel services are also offered.
