CISA offers Immersion Experiences that are adaptable for beginner to advanced levels.  It is located in Tuis de Turrialba, a small rural town of 3,000 people surrounded by a tropical and mountainous landscape.  About 25 minutes is the city of Turrialba which is the closest major city. It is in a beautiful valley with approximately 70,000 people. It contains all the basic necessities such as; banks, a hospital, Internet Cafes, supermarkets, restaurants, a post office, gas stations, a modern bus station which offers hourly service to San Jose and the Caribbean, etc.

The main attractions on Turrialba are: Turrialba Volcano, Guayabo National Monument,  Botanical Reserves, canyoning, hiking, and world famous river rafting. As part of each student’s Immersion Experience, they have the option to participate in various tours and field trips within the Turrialba area and even to the coasts.

CISA offers a full Spanish immersion experience in a native speaking area without many tourists. It features an excellent and personalized instruction, sourrounded by a peaceful learning environment.

CISA's students live with a hostfamilies during their stay, which guarantees constant practice with speaking Spanish and full immersion in the local culture.  For families or groups, CISA also owns a house, five minutes by bus from the school, full furnished and well-equipped.
