New Learning Academy
Spanish Language School in Costa Rica

Founded in 1998, New Learning Academy is a Language School, which offers Spanish Language programs as well as Italian, German and other Languages courses, in two sites strategically located in the heart of downtown San Jose or in Guadalupe a short 15 minute bus ride from the capital. At the Spanish language academy, it offers courses for every level, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Students can choose between full immersion courses, private tutoring, or a combination of both, or custom make their package to better suit their needs. The school's methodology is focused and based on the modern communicative approach which emphasizes conversation. Classes normally have 2-4 students (max. allowed is 7).

New Learning Academy also offers home-stay programs in quiet and pleasant environments close to the school.

New Learning Academy has cultural activities available, including classes such as Latin Dance Class, Exotic Fruit Class, and more. Each Friday the second half of class is devoted to a cultural activity. It also has afternoon excursions and trips available at extra cost, including a City Tour; Coffee Plantation; InBio Park (Biodiversity); and much more. Also available for the weekends are overnight trips to many beautiful places throughout the country, including Arenal; Puerto Viejo, Limón; Isla Bolaños; Tortuguero National Park; Manuel Antonio National Park and other exciting sites.
