Coastal Spanish Institute offers quality
intensive Spanish language courses in one of the most beautiful beach areas in Costa Rica.
It is situated in the heart of Playa Tamarindo, Costa Rica. From
Coastal Spanish Institute, everything in the town (including
the beach) are just a few minutes walk away.
The classes start every
Monday. The institute offers nine different levels of Spanish courses, all of which are
taught in Spanish. The maximum class size is 6 participants per group. Students can choose
from different Spanish course options: Standard Spanish Program (20 lessons p/w),
Intensive Spanish Program (30 lessons p/w), Private Spanish Program (20-35 lessons p/w),
which can be used to cover general or specialized Spanish language topics; and the Spanish
& Surf Program. Besides, Coastal Spanish Institute has an agreement which allows its students to receive academic
credit for courses taken at the school.
Regarding accommodation, the
institute has a residence located right at the school. It consists of 4 large apartments.
The students at the residence will share a bedroom with other students and also the common
areas.
Coastal Spanish Institute
also offers homestay with local families,
which are located in the towns of Santa Rose and Villa Real. These towns are
approximately 3-5 miles from Playa Tamarindo and there is regular public transportation.
Coastal Spanish Institute
offers or helps to arrange a variety of cultural activities, afternoon trips and weekend
excursions.
