Location
and Facilities
At only 15
minutes by plane from San José Costa Rica. The School is located in the pacific coast
town of Manuel Antonio just to the south-west of Quepos. Manuel Antonio is simply
described as a tropical paradise. Its sandy white beaches and high cliffs are situated in
a vibrant rain forest full of extraordinary flora and fauna surrounded by an endless blue
sea. It is home to over 100 species of mammals and 184 species of exotic birds. Marine
life is abundant in the park and the 12 surrounding islands. Howler monkeys cry mournfully
as bathers relax in the shade of the almond and coconut palms.
The school itself sits on the side of a
mountain overlooking the Manuel Antonio Beach Park Area and the Pacific.
Classrooms are comfortable, and are situated
both inside the building and outside on the comfortable patio. This school is the perfect
option for those who want to get away from to the beaches and natural parks of Costa Rica,
while at the same time learning Spanish.
La Academia de Español DAmore offers free
high speed internet service at specific times of the day. We also offer wireless
connections for those interested in bringing their laptops.

the airport and to arrange transportation directly to Manuel Antonio. But of course, if
your travel plans don't allow for that, or if you desire to strike out on your own, you

Manuel Antonio is located 7 kilometers from Quepos, a sleepy fishermans town with a
southern dusty hidden appeal.
Quepos shows the leftovers of a former
wealthy banana plantation and will offer you all sorts of cultural experiences. You will
sense that small town feel where everybody says hello as you stroll by.
The scenic bus ride from San Jose has
proven to be an unforgettable experience for our students. You will witness
everything from mountainous coffee plantations to crocodiles sunning themselves on the
river's edge. Along the way you will also experience the charm of small town life
nestled gently in the tropical jungle.
Once in Quepos/Manuel Antonio you will have the chance to enjoy yourself with horseback
riding, sportfishing, international cuisine, bars and discos, river rafting and
expeditions in kayaks, surfing, snorkeling, bird and butterfly watching, quiet beaches,
astounding sunsets and the most exclusive Spanish Immersion Center in Costa Rica!
