Spanish Language School in Chile

The word "Newen", in Mapudungu (a native language of Chile) means "energy of the universe". Because learning a language also means learning about the culture to which it belongs, the Newen Spanish School has taken this name. The school is located in front of Parque Forestal, one block away from a metro station and Fine Arts Museum, surrounded by coffee shops with an excelent atmosphere.

Newen School offers Spanish instruction in intensive groups (max. 3 students per class) or in individual lessons. Spanish classes start every Monday and are organized in four levels (from beginner to fluent). They include field trips, such as visiting fruit and vegetable markets (typical in Latin America), ordering at a restaurant, visiting museums, etc., and include Chilean, Spanish, and Latin American movies, listening to songs, reading newspapers, games, and more.  Class contents can be tailored to suit students' special needs and interests, such as business, traveling, or special studies.

Newen School can make housing arrangements for its students with Chilean youths or families.
