BLS schools offer a broad range of French courses to suit students' different requirements, in two quality settings in Bordeaux and Biarritz, in the beautiful region of Aquitaine. Students are 16 years or older, and can take private tuition and combined courses (at least for one week) or group lessons (at least for two weeks).  Groups are from 8 to 12 students per class in Bordeaux and 8 to 14 in Biarritz. French courses are organized on 6 levels, from beginner to advanced, as defined by the Council of Europe.  General French courses can be started on any Monday, except for beginners whose starting dates are fixed. Special courses and examination courses also begin on fixed dates. All BLS teachers are qualified in French as a Foreign Language

BLS Bordeaux has been awarded the “Quality Award for French as a Foreign Language”. It is one of the first French as a Foreign Language Schools in France to receive this accolade for the quality of its teaching, its facilities and its services (management, enrolment, accommodation).

BLS Bordeaux is located in the heart of Bordeaux in a spacious 19th century building, which has 15 bright, air-conditioned classrooms, a self study room and lounge opening out onto a sheltered garden.

BLS Biarritz is located close to Biarritz town centre in a modern and spacious building dating from the 70's. The school offers 15 bright, air conditioned classrooms, an internet and self study room for the students.

BORDEAUX WINE COURSE: Designed for wine lovers, gourmets or professionals, enabling participants to learn the many secrets of the “Art of Tasting”, and to apprehend the complexity involved in making Bordeaux wines.

Minimum price: 750€ , one week course

FRENCH AND SURF COURSE (in Biarritz): A highly accessible course, enriching both from a learning and sporting perspective, set in a town that lives and breathes “surf culture".
Minimum age: 16
Maximum nr of participants: 14 in Biarritz
Minimum price: 960€ for 2 weeks
