For 20 years, ELFE has been specialised in teaching French as a foreign language to adults. ELFE occupies a 19th Century mansion house in the centre of Paris, 15 minutes from the Opera and less than 10 minutes from Montmartre. The school is situated at the heart of the Villa Ballu. The school has light, calm and spacious classrooms on two floors with lift, a cafeteria area with an adjoining terrace, a study room with educational materials available (a selection of books, cassettes, CD-ROM), free internet access and WI-FI connections accessible in all classrooms.

ELFE offers courses in small groups of 6 people. Courses start each Monday, except for complete beginners, who start on the first Monday of each month for a minimum of two weeks. The school also offers specialised French (individual tuition), such as Business French, French for finance and insurance, French for law, French for tourism and the hotel industry, Medical French, French for the Oil Industry and other subjects upon request.
