German Language School in Bremen, Germany

Founded in 1983, Casa Internationale Sprachschule runs German intensive courses throughout the year at 5 different levels, each being compatible with the one before. All courses are 8 weeks in duration with an option to attend a following preparation course for TestDaF exam (5 weeks). There are also a Summer course (July to September) and special courses and private lessons.

Using up-to-date methodology and modern techniques, teachers school students in vocabulary and impart the fundaments of German grammar, targeting the four language skills: Listening, reading, writing and in particular, speaking. In meeting the individual needs and requirements of each student, regular correction of written work is as much the concern of Casa's teachers as is the personal care and tutorship of the students who learn in groups of 10 to 14 participants. Lessons take place over 20 hours during the week.   The school co-ordinates a team of permanent teachers who are university-trained in teaching foreign languages and, as a rule, have experience of working abroad.

Bremen is situated on the river Weser in the North of Germany. Although it is a city with 600,000 inhabitants, mixing a unique blend of Hanseatic tradition and modern development, it also possesses the friendly and familiar quality of a smaller town, where one can feel at ease and make friends easily. Students will find plenty to do in their free time, whether walking in one of its lovely parks, admiring the friendly architecture or partaking the delights of its café culture, pub quarters and squares. Bremen's closeness to the sea also makes it an ideal base to take off from for excursions to the North Sea islands, to Hamburg, Lubeck or the Luneberg Moors.
