Steinke Institut
German Language School in West Germany

Steinke Institute was founded in the beginning of 2001 and was named in memory of the writer and winner of the Bavarian literature award Dr. Udo Steinke. The institute is situated in the center of Bonn in the pedestrian zone, directly in front of the main university building which was the former castle of the electoral counts of Bonn. The school offers a wide range of intensive German courses. There are courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced students, in groups with a maximum of 15 students per class. Final exams take place at the end of each course and certificates are issued for each level achieved.

Steinke Institute also offers DSH/TestDaF intensive courses, which prepare the students for the entrance exams for a German university. The DSH exam can also be passed at Steinke Institute. There are prep courses for students who intend to study in a German partner universities. Other special courses are provided, such as super intensive courses, evening courses, holiday courses, au pair courses, German for children and much more.

Steinke Institute organizes leisure activities which include visits to museums, hiking, ship ride on the Rhine, visits to medieval town and other cultural events.
