Tandem Hamburg has been approved by the quality control system «Weiterbildung Hamburg», and carry the seal of quality in further education. Its exceptional standards are monitored and assessed regularly. Furthermore, Tandem Hamburg is certified by CSN (Centrala studiestödsnämden) in Sweden for students who are planning on studying German as a foreign language abroad.

You will meet people from Europe, America, Africa, Asia, Australia, and of course, the locals!

TANDEM Hamburg is conveniently located in the west of Hamburg, in Altona. It is noticeable to this day that Hamburg's "sister" used to be a town on her own until 1937. Today Altona is the favoured place to work and live in for a colorful mixture of people from all corners of the world. Many young people live there.
In Altona you'll find everything that makes Hamburg attractive: peace and liveliness, culture and commerce, the old and the new.

Hamburg is famous for being the biggest German harbour. But there’s so much more:  Hamburg knows what it takes to create a truly international atmosphere. This city is also a vibrant place for the arts, the media, and - of course - music! The Beatles were probably the most well known, but by no means the only musicians to grow up here and become stars, and the story still continues at the «Große Freiheit» and at lots of other venues.

As for the museums and the sports scene, there is really too much to find. At the same time, this is a beautiful, green city. There’s water everywhere, with hundreds of bridges spanning the canals and the fantastic Alster Lake where you can go sailing in the city centre!
