Italian Language School in Marches, Italy

The Giacomo Leopardi Center offers Italian language and culture courses all year round. The school is located in the Castle of Belforte all'Isauro, near Urbino and other important cities, in the comune of  Belforte all’Isauro. The Belforte castle was built in the late Middle Ages and restored under the domination of Federico. The last Baron Beaufort stated to return the castle to the municipality and the building would be used as a school or cultural center.

The Giacomo Leopardi's Italian and culture courses are made up of small groups (average 5 students) adapted to all levels. The basic length is 4 weeks, four 60-minute lessons per day, from Monday to Friday and further afternoon lessons according to the needs of the students. There are also individual sessions, upon request. The school also offers optional courses, such as Ceramics, Fashion, History of Art, Italian Music, etc.

Many afternoon and evening activities are offered, to obtain the best results in the shortest time and to integrate fully with the inhabitants: dinners at the school, excursions to the most important Italian towns, guided visits, sport, recreational, cultural, and cooking activities.

Students are lodged in rooms in the Castle, restored once again in 1994, or in apartments in the Medieval "Borgo"," restored once again in 1996 which is in front of the Castle. Both are furnished in their original style. The classrooms, common rooms, kitchen and dining room are situated in the lower floors whilst in the upper floors there are the bedrooms all with private bathroom.
