 The Come mai? School is based
in Triei, a small town 8 kilometres from the centre of Sardinia’s east coast.
The Come mai? School has spacious comfortable classrooms with modern resources and the
material needed for the lessons to run smoothly. There is a well-stocked library, a video
library and a large cinema. It also has the facilities and resources needed for different
sporting activities so that students can play football, tennis, volleyball, basketball and
go mountain-biking, etc.
Courses are based on the communicative approach: a modern interactive effective method
where communication is at the focus of learning. It is an entertaining, dynamic method.
Each lesson is based on creativity thereby letting the student spontaneously acquire the
basic structures of the language: vocabulary, grammar, idiomatic expressions, etc. The
student is considered a researcher, who, with the teacher’s help, will manage to
penetrate the language, analyse it, understand it and use it. The skills acquired are then
put into practice by participating in numerous activities that are carried out in Triei
together with its inhabitants.
Come mai? offers Summer Courses with Italian Courses for all
levels. A placement test will be given to decide each student’s level and evaluate
their different language skills:
