The Centre of Studies Idea Verona was founded in 1998.  It is devoted to the study of Italian language and culture, as well as providing a meeting point for people from around the world.  It is situated in the centre of Verona, near Castello Scaligero, a stone's throw away from the main square, Piazza Brà, and the Arena. Despite its central location, the school still provides a very peaceful environment, which is both conducive and necessary to the learning process.  It has renovated its premises to include large, modern, elegant and comfortable rooms.

Several levels of instruction are available. Morning classes consist of vocabulary, grammar and syntax, while afternoon classes focus on conversation and culture.  Courses generally last four weeks, but the school also offers courses for one, two or three weeks. For special groups, specific dates can be arranged. In addition to language instruction, Idea Verona offers a variety of Italian cultural courses to choose from. These optional classes include History of Italian Literature, Art History, Lyric Opera, Commercial Italian, etc.  The school also provides preparatory courses for lyric singers, preparation for university studies, CILS or AIL preparation courses, etc.  Individual tuition and mini courses are also possible upon request.
