Italian Language Schools in Florence, Italy
Linguaviva is an educational group based in Italy with a
network around the world. Since 1976 Linguaviva has been offering people the
opportunity to learn Italian language and to know the Italian culture. In Florence,
the school is centrally located, in a quiet street next to the main railway station.
Walking around the city students will find shops selling fashionable clothes, antiques and
jewellery as well as typical Florentine handicrafts; they will meet ordinary people and
talk to them in Italian language.
Linguaviva offers three stories of a 19th building, 17
comfortable, well-equipped and air conditioned classrooms, a small garden, free internet
access, and other services. There is a wide range of General Italian courses to choose
from, such as the Standard Italian, long-term courses, Super-intensive courses and the
one-to-one program. In addition to these language programs, the school provides
special courses, such as the Art History course or the Preparatory for University course.
Students can also combine the Italian language instruction with Cooking lessons,
Arts & Photography, etc.
Linguaviva handles the selection and the reservation of
housing accommodation best suited to its students' needs. Accommodation options can
be within walking distance of the school or well connected by public transport.
Students may choose from homestay, shared flats, indenpendent flats and hotel apartment
accommodation.
Every month Linguaviva organizes a daily programme of
activities exclusively for its students: visits to famous cities, to museums (with an
expert guide), to world-renown works of art and places of historical interest, attendance
to afternoon lectures, watch Italian films, etc.
