Scuola Insieme is an immersion Italian language school, offering courses each Summer in Italian language (all levels) and culture, in the historic seaside city of Grado. Off the beaten tourist path, but close to Venice both physically and culturally, Grado is an ancient, picturesque island-city with a celebrated Old Town, a quaint fishing port and world-class beaches.

The school has small classes size (max. 8 students per group) and each language class meets for four full 60-minute hours each weekday, Monday through Friday, even on Italian national holidays.  Some of th courses offered are: Intensive Italian Language Course (from beginners to advanced levels), Specialized Courses (Italian for Travelers, Italian for Children, Business Italian, etc.), Custom-made courses and private tuition, etc.

Scuola Insieme offers different options for accommodation: host family, private apartments, bed & breakfast and hotel room.  All of the accommodations are within walking distance of the school, the historic town center, the Old Port, the pedestrian shopping area, and the Mediterranean Sea and beaches.

Scuola Insieme plans weekly social and cultural activities throughout the summer months, in addition to the City of Grado's Summer Activities and Festival.  These may include group-outings to concerts, plays, or art exhibits. The school also organizes many beach activities as well as occasional evening slide lectures on Italian history or the history of art.
