The International House Language Centre in Palermo, established in 1975 by Mrs. Pat Durden, the present Director, and affiliated to IH in 1984, occupies the ground and basement floors of a hundred-year-old block of flats in the city centre, near the main square, in a prosperous area of the town.

There are twelve classrooms, 2 staff rooms, a student self-access centre, a photocopying area, a reception area, a patio, two offices and a small library.

The school is centrally heated, with air conditioning in the summer months.
