inlingua Alghero guarantees a new
beginners course will begin the first and third Monday of every month from March
through September. For those of you who know some or a lot of Italian, you may start on
any Monday.
When should I arrive?
Typically, students arrive on Sunday before lessons begin, stay for at least week and
depart on the following Sunday or Saturday, though this may depend on your flight and
accommodations arrangements.
What
is the teaching method?
inlingua Alghero uses the tried and tested direct method of
teaching. Students are encouraged to participate actively in the lesson and in their
learning, with an emphasis on speaking in Italian straight away!
inlingua Alghero aims to
keep the holiday in holiday study, so that your Italian lessons
are part of the fun. Holiday students are therefore encouraged to participate
actively in the lesson and in their learning, with an emphasis on speaking in Italian
straight away! The school also includes seminars on Italian culture, local traditions and
music to help you keep up with new trends, idiomatic expressions and even Italian gestures
(a language unto its own!).

Alghero have put together a wonderfully articulated course offering to satisfy a wide
range of interests.
All of Italian
trainers are selected on the basis of experience and qualifications as well as of their
ability to establish rapport with students, be flexible in their approach and personalize
course content.
How is the language in Alghero?
The Sardinian accent is extremely easy to understand and is considered to be one
of the accents closest to the Standard Italian spoken in theatre or television. By
learning Italian in Alghero, you will be learning Italian that can be understood and
spoken anywhere in Italy, not just in Alghero.
