Founded in 1923, The Istituto Dante
Alighieri of Rimini organizes individual and group courses -from 3 to a maximum of 6
students intensive and combined-. The school is located in Rimini, on the
Adriatic coast, in the region of Emilia Romagna. Rimini is famous not only for its
historical traditions dating back to the Roman period, but also for its numerous
possibilities for leisure and recreational activities it offers and its renowned
hospitality and joie de vivre.
The aim of the course is to achieve the development of
all of the abilities with particular attention to not only expressive ease, but also
grammatical aspects. An initial placement test, taken before the course begins,
allows for an effective evaluation of the students knowledge of the language. The
didactic material and the various worksheets for specific language are supplied by the
school. Courses offered are: Individual courses x 1 or 2 students, Intensive group
courses (May-September), Regular group courses, Combined courses, Individual intensive
courses and Thematic group or individual courses (Grammar and conversation, International
Relations, etc.). At the end of every course a final exam is given and therefore
awarding a Certificate of Studies issued by the Istituto Dante Alighieri upon
the successful completion of the course and final. The Certificate of Study is
recognized by the Ministry of Education, the Department of Labour, and the Italian Embassy
and by all countries in the European Union.
