AbbeySchool CiaoItaly was born from multicultural experience and professionalism of the staff of AbbeySchool, which has represented an excellent centre in the field of linguistics in Turin since 1996 and was guaranteed according to the parameter of  UNI EU ISO 9001:2000 in 2007. The school, specialized in the teaching of language and Italian culture to foreigners, guarantees to the students high qualitative standard of formation.  The programmatic choice of working only with small groups assures each participant the possibility of experiencing and improving his/her linguistic skills. The access to each course expects, therefore, an entrance exam in order to form classes suitable for the level of the participant.

The lessons are entrusted to energetic and qualified native language teachers by means of direct pedagogic method and the use of various teaching materials (books, newspaper, cassettes, films, music, etc.) which help the students to improve their communicative and cultural skills. The numerous recreational activities organized by the school, in collaboration with the professional of the area, allow the student to get into contact with the local people and to get to know the cultural and artistic richness of the city and the province. The Abbey Cards offer, moreover, a privilege to the members to enjoy various facilitated services (from the restaurant to the gym) of accorded corporations.

With the sensibility to the growing demand of the courses from Asian students, AbbeySchool CiaoItaly has prepared the programmes based on teaching methodologies which take in consideration the phonetic and syntactic diversity of the non-European languages. In order to help the students the school also provide a staff who knows major Asian languages.

For the students who have a love of food, eventually, special programmes of the discovery of Piedmont cuisine and food and wine connoisseurship are prearranged.
