Il Sillabo is housed in Palazzo Salviati (also called "Palazzaccio") located in the historical centre of Castello di San Giovanni - now known simply as San Giovanni - an original medieval town with typical late Renaissance Tuscan architecture. The school has two facilities: one in Via Alberti, with an office and 4 classrooms, and another in Largo Ceramica, with more classrooms and a welcome reception area.  Both facilities are 2 minutes walking from each other.  There are various additional services offered: Internet access (with high speed connection and wireless area), a small library with books and DVDs, air conditioning in the classrooms, and much more.

Il Sillabo offers Intensive, Super Intensive and Combined Italian language courses, Individual lessons and complementary lessons (Drawing & painting lessons, History of Art, Cooking lessons, Italian Literature, etc.) throughout the year.  Groups allow a maximum of 10 students per class, and lessons are held from Monday to Friday. A one hour class is deemed to be a full 60 minutes. Textbooks and/or teaching materials such as photocopies are included in the prices.  The courses are organized at 6 levels, from beginners to advanced. Non-beginner students are provided with a placement test when the school's confirmation letter is received by them.  They also have a short interview to confirm the class placement upon arrival.

Different accommodation options are offered (apartment, host family, etc.) and there is also a well organized travel and cultural program.
