Scuola Toscana has been offered Italian Language and Culture courses for the past 15 years to foreign students from all over the world.  The school is situated in Florence, in the heart of Tuscany.

Italian courses are organized in small groups (no more than 8 students per class), at six levels, from absolute beginners up to perfecting.  At the beginning of the course, students take a placement test to determine their level. Starting dates are available every two weeks, all year round. Courses last from one week to three years, according to the student's needs or interest. There is a proficiency evaluation once a course is completed, and the student may receive an appropiate certificate or diploma.

Language instruction covers both grammar and communication skills.  Group courses can last six, five or four hours a day and can be combined with private instruction. They also include extra hours of different activities, such as excursions, art visits, cooking lessons, pizza dinners and more. There is also intensive individual italian language courses, which are one-to-one, tailor-made courses to suit the student's own requirements.   Italian for Business and Trade courses are also available in group or individual tuition, as well as other specialized programs like Italian for Tourism, Art History, Music and Opera, and much more.

Regarding accommodation, Scuola Toscana offers a wide choice of apartments and selected families in Florence.  Students may stay in a hotel room if they prefer.
