Italiahomestay is located in the Puglia region, which forms the
heel of the boot that is Italy, in the province of Brindisi, in a small very
welcoming town: Villa Castelli. From the Murgia of Trulli to the Ionic Tarantino Arch,
Villa Castelli is located on the border between Salento and Valle d'Itria. Its origins go
back to the ancient Greece and it is possible to trace its history to the present day,
through the beauty of its landscapes, monuments, exhibitions, archaeological sites and
museums. Surrounded by the magnificent sea of Puglia, you can also visit churches, parks,
the zoo, ceramic workshops, the famous trulli, caves, that is the famous historical
centres of the South (Ceglie, Ostuni, Martina Franca, Grottaglie, Taranto, Lecce,
Alberobello, Castellana Grotte and so forth) and experience the true Italian lifestyle.
Rossini will be your Italian teacher and she will be happy to organize for you the course
that meets your needs. She is a DITALS certified teacher and has a degree in Italian
Literature with 110/110 cum laude at the University of Salento. Maria speaks English,
German and Chinese and attended the University for Foreigners of Siena where sheI received
two Masters degrees: a Master DITALS and a Master ELIIAS, which concern with teaching
Italian as second language in person and online. Maria is a sociable, dynamic person, who
loves different languages and cultures. She likes to discover and experience new things
and has many interests, such as the opera, traveling, the cinema, reading and organizing
Italian language and culture courses of Italiahomestay are designed to meet your
every need. Courses (one one-to-one or group courses) are structured according to the
levels of linguistic knowledge of the CEFR. In addition, thanks to the use of authentic
materials, the Italian language is presented in its real contexts of use and, sharing
every choice within your learning path, you will reach the goals in the most efficient

will arrange your bed and meals and will be looking forward to welcoming you.
The apartment (the residence of the family) is located in the center of the city.
You will have a single room, free access to the common areas of the house, free wi
-fi, a computer station and what's more, have the chance to live the life of Italian
family every day.
You may also choose to stay at Trullo, a
structure set in a rocky ridge protected by the Italian Institution of Cultural Heritage.
It has two bedrooms (one single and one double), a kitchen, a living room, a
bathroom and a barbecue area on the terrace outside. You will be surrounded by the
beautiful landscape of the typical Apulian countryside, characterized by the Mediterranean
Scrub. The distance from the city is about a five minute walk.
