Since 1991, Fast Forward Language Institute has been devoted to providing high quality and personalized instruction in Portuguese for foreigners. It has locations in São Paulo and Maceió. Each of these cities offers a unique experience in the modern life of the Portuguese language and the people who natively speak it. Maceió, the capital of the state of Alagoas is in the northeast of Brazil. The school is located in the Ponta Verde district, a modern residential area, just 4 blocks away from the beach, close to restaurants, gyms, etc.  In the other hand, São Paulo is considered one of Latin America's most important industrial and financial centers. The school is located at the intersection of two of the most major streets in São Paulo, and is minutes away from the historic center of the city.

Language lessons at Fast Forward Language Institute focus on communication. The institute offers group (max. 6 students per class) and private general language instruction, from absolute beginner to advanced levels. Portuguese Language exam preparation courses (CELPE-BRAS) are also available. The institute also offers Bildungsurlaub for German employees as well as University Credits for American students.

Cultural programs are optional and available throughout the year. Some of them are Culinary Instruction, Rhythms and Dances, capoeira (classes in the Brazilian martial art/dance considered to be an essential part of cultural heritage -local groups lead the students to both playful and serious interactions with this beautiful tradition-), etc.

Students may choose the kind of accommodation they need: host family, apartment, student residence or hotel options are available the whole year round.
