The Center of Language and Culture (CLC) at the University of Wollongong of Dubai, offers Arabic language programs on a part-time basis in the evenings. During the summer the centre also offers a full-time intensive Arabic program. These programs introduce students not only to spoken Arabic but also to Arabic culture and customs. 

Part-time courses incorporate four language skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing, and they organized at different levels: beginner, elementary, Culture and Customs (pre-intermediate level), Business and Pleasure (intermediate level) and a Flexible Delivery Option, to cater for the needs of businesses and employers who would like to sponsor groups of employees to learn Arabic.  In this case, arrangements can be made for any of the above courses to be delivered in-house, on business premises.

The Arabic Summer Program is particularly suited to international students who want to study Arabic in an Arabic cultural context. It includes lessons on Arabic language, visits to local places of interest and lectures on Arabic culture and customs. Conducted over two 4-week terms, commencing in July, it includes a variety of language and learning opportunities from which students will gain a broad understanding of Arabic language and culture.  There are different cultural activities provided during this program: Students will watch films from the Arabic world, take field trips to local Arabic places, meet with local or Arab Guest Speakers, listen to Arabic radio stations, eat Arabic food, etc. The Centre for Language and Culture (CLC) provides a certificate of attainment and a transcript on the successful completion of each term.

The university offers accommodation to students if it is available.
