If proving competency in Spanish language is a requirement,
you can take a test to obtain one of the following certificates:
Diplomas de Español como Lengua
Extranjera (DELE)
The Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera
(DELE) certify different levels in Spanish language, from the elementary
level to superior level. These exams are issued and recognised by the Ministry of
Education, Culture and Sport of Spain, are organised by the Instituto Cervantes and are
prepared, corrected and evaluated by the University of Salamanca. The diploma is for
people who desire to study at Spanish Universities or would like to work in a Spanish
speaking country.
