Founded in 1986, the Emerald Cultural Institute has built up a reputation for professionalism and academic excellence. The Institute has a staff of highly-qualified and experienced teachers.  General and professional English courses are held year-round at the Institute's headquarters in Palmerston Park.  Emerald Cultural Institute also runs summer courses from June to September. 

The centre is located in Palmerston Park, a prime residential district within walking distance of Dublin city centre. The school itself is a gracious Victorian mansion set in its own grounds and overlooking the park, while the new architect-designed building in the landscaped gardens to the rear of the house was meticulously planned to create state-of-the-art facilities without in any way compromising the original building.
